Morbi Bridge Collapsed: 130+ Died, Who's Responsible?

Yesterday such an incident happened in Morbi, Gujarat which shook everyone. The Morbi suspension bridge, which was recently reopened for public after renovation, collapsed as it could not bear the weight of the people standing on it.

As soon as the incident took place, the social media got split into two, on one hand a old clip of PM Modi started trending, while on the other a group got involved in defending the government. These activities are done by the common peoples which is very common, but apart from this there were few more groups in which there was media on one side and the opposition on the other. the Rescue operation was started at the accident site and after every 10-15 minutes the death no.'s was increasing.

very soon the sentiments started coming from the opposition and the parties were instructing their supporters to help the affected people. also The second reactions are from the news media, or we can say "The Godi Media", they started a campaign to defend the government, now again another old clip started trending and the media started their propaganda as always. They stated that opposition is behind this incident.

Media Headlines On The Incident

The Indian media will continue to be mentioned, but the death toll has now come to a halt at 132 today which is a much more.

Finally after 24 hours there is an official press conference held by the police officials and the arrests of some security guards and clerks are confirmed.

Who's Really Reaponsible?

  • Ultimately the question arises that, why are the government responsible for achievements and employees for failures?
  • Who gives orders and instructions to the employees? Who chooses the companies to look after these places?
Hope maybe such questions will be answered someday...
